Nutritional Assessment
A screening diet history is a valuable tool when it is detailed, accurate and complete. A form that clients ideally complete at home and return to the clinic prior to their appointment gives them the opportunity to check labels, confirm specific brands and flavors of food, amounts fed, or to check recipes. It also gives the veterinary health care team an opportunity to review the diet history ahead of time and saves time during the consultation for clarifying details or filling information gaps.
